Jacques does a great job of researching and explaining Virtual Humans and virtual Rappers / AI music, so for anyone who gets confused when we discuss these areas then please listen to this. His focus is on Avatars and AI based music - which is what FN-MEKA is making, he says;
“Artificial intelligence is used in a variety of ways, but can it make music? It’s been widely documented before with A.I research company OpenAI releasing songs in the ethos of famous pop stars like Katy Perry When it comes to rap, Space150 made waves with TravisBott in 2020. Today, Factory New’s FN Meka is attempting to become the first ‘robot rapper.’ Genius' Jacques Morel takes a look at these efforts and attempts to get behind the shadowy creation of Meka and his new nemisis, FN Nxrmal.”

FNMeka was one of the earliest virtual influencer avatars and is currently the biggest male virtual influencer avatar on TikTok with 10M followers. Virtual avatars will become an important part of the metaverse because they provide an outlet for real people to reflect their personalities, interests, and aspirations in fantastical ways that would be impossible in the real world. Dudley comes in at about minute 7 of the video - link below - and also discusses the VIA code of ethics and points out this is the just the very beginning, FN might be making music but there will be thousands of characters, owned by brands, creators, churches, everyone, creating entertainment product and business service provision. This is nacsent start of an entertainment and business relationship revolution.
